2018 Scholarship Recipient – John Brit Douglas

The inaugural Class of 2008 Scholarship for Community Involvement was awarded on May 3rd, 2018 to Brit Douglas. Brit is one of the co-founders of Rogue Lacrosse, an organization that raises money for veterans through the sale of custom lacrosse heads. Brit is also a full junior volunteer fire fighter with Union Fire Company, lead driver for the high school’s FIRST Robotics team, Eagle Scout, multi-sport athlete, and an excellent student.

Mr. Douglas will attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to pursue Mechanical Engineering. In addition, Brit has committed to being a Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Cadet, continuing his family’s long tradition of serving our country.
